McDonald’s new Happy Meal is healthier. In the new not-so-Happy Meal, the quantity of fries is halved to make room for a half cup of apples.
According to various reports, the total savings comes to 20% on calories, fat, and other nutritional things I don’t really understand. There is something I do understand, and that is the new Happy Meal means colder fries for everyone else.
If the fry basket stays the same size, but consumption decreases, then fries lie in wait longer before consumption, resulting in colder fries. I’d rather have fat children than cold McDonald’s fries, but maybe I’m the only one.
