According to Wikipedia, it may have been the most successful TV advertisement campaign in automotive history. The ad was a hit instantaneously. The company recorded more traffic to its website in the 24 hours that followed its debut than all other automakers received the entire month!
But website traffic is only half the battle. The company received 250,000 unique visitors to its site, 10,000 requested more information about the Accord, or a DVD of the commercial itself.
