For the Love of Finance

by JT McGee

Romney should probably just drop out. This is going to be ugly; here is one of many Obama ads about Romney’s involvement in private equity.

I really think this will be one of the worst election cycles in a long time. The ads are going to be ugly – and there are billions to be spent this year.

Stuff I Dig

  1. FinancialUproar talks about my two favorite topics: cost structure and competition.
  2. PK writes about gold, and even admits owning it. He’s officially removed from the value investing camp!
  3. The Weakonomist writes about American flag imports into the United States. Look at that 9/11 patriotism bump!

Stuff I wrote

In the past week or two I really put the pen to paper, or fingers to keys – whatever.

Whoa. That’s a hell of a campaign ad.

Thanks for the mention, as always.

Haha – Gold stocks in a commodity ETF, baby (I realized that I don’t have any mutual funds concentrated there). Remember I told you only some of my portfolio is actively managed?

Thanks for the link!

Sometimes capitalism is ruthless, I think. Anyway, you should be on Twitter!
